How To Go To Singapore From Kuala Lumpur

There are different modes of travelling from Kuala Lumpur to Singapore. Singapore is Malaysia’s neighbouring country. You can either go by air, take a ferry, drive yourself by car or take a bus. I am going to share my experience as a tourist and how I travelled to Singapore from Kuala Lumpur.  I usually get to hear people saying how do we go to Singapore from Kuala Lumpur? or What is the cheapest way to go to Singapore from Kuala Lumpur?

I did extensive research as to which travelling mode will be most efficient and also pocket friendly. So my findings suggested I get a bus from Kuala Lumpur to Singapore and then back the same way. There are many bus services that operate between Kuala Lumpur and Singapore. I am going to discuss only one which I used and that was Aeroline Bus Service.

Aeroline Bus Service Kuala Lumpur

I found mixed reviews about this bus service on the internet. But it really impressed me with its overall A-star service. I travelled with my family. The nearest stop to my home is the Corus Hotel Aeroline Service Centre. I bought the tickets online. The standard ticket fare is RM95 / SD50 Adult one-way ticket and RM190 / SD100 Adult two-way ticket. The standard ticket fare is RM65 / SD38 Child one-way ticket and RM130 / SD76 Child two-way ticket.
Checking in was quite fast as we reached the bus stop well before time. You have to reach the bus stop at least 20 minutes before the departure time. Our bus stop was the Corus Hotel. There is a pretty nice clean area allocated in the hotel lobby for the Aeroline bus passengers. You can also have tea or coffee there for free.

Aeroline Bus Condition:

From Kuala Lumpur to Singapore, our bus was very nice. It was a refurbished one. The staff on board was also very polite. They served us a decent snack and a hot drink of your choice. The bus service from Singapore to Kuala Lumpur was not very nice. The bus was old and needed some care. The staff onboard was very rude. Especially the guy who was serving around was extremely arrogant and not fit for the job that he was hired for. The dinner served was totally bland and cold. The bus seating is very comfortable and spacious. You also get a blanket and a water bottle.

Aeroline Bus Timings

I believe that my experience was better than going by air. It hardly took less than an hour at the immigration checkpoints and we were on time at both the destinations. Their bus positions at the immigration check posts are also very close to the exit gates so don’t have any issue in locating the bus.

My Tips on Aeroline as a Whole

If are going with kids, do keep some snacks with you. At Aeroline Singapore Bus stop you can keep your luggage without paying any additional charges if you show them your valid ticket for that day. Do try this bus service it’s really convenient and pocket friendly. If you are a family with young kids, you must go and enjoy the journey. My kids loved it and didn’t bother me at all.
