The Chateau is the world’s first organic spa and wellness resort. Nestled in the 150-million-year-old tropical rainforest of Berjaya Hills in Bukit Tinggi; The Chateau Spa & Organic Wellness Resort transports you to a French medieval era. It’s just an hour’s drive from Kuala Lumpur. Which makes it an ideal weekend getaway. The resort is replicated after a French castle. The Chateau boasts 200 elegant rooms and suites.

Overview
The Resort was opened in 2012. It was solely made for couples and honeymooners. Recently they have opened their doors to families with children as well. This has further increased its popularity. Another reason to explore this French-themed resort. Our kids enjoyed the place as well as we did.
We are a family of five so we booked a three-room executive suite. It was very spacious and elegantly decorated. All three rooms had decent-sized bathrooms. The living room had an extra toilet. The master bedroom had a jacuzzi. The suite was worth the price. All the bedrooms had wonderful scenic views of the lush forest and mountains.
The Chateau may look like a medieval castle, but it’s equipped with all the modern facilities. The Chateau offers some of the finest technologically advanced spa facilities in Asia. A premier award-winning spa destination where you can relax and enjoy the natural beauty.
Recreational Activities at Chateau
There are a lot of recreational activities around this resort. They have built a world-class adventure park for thrill seekers. The most notable one is the Flying Fox zip line. It’s about 1 KM long and at a height of 100 meters. Other fun activities of the Adventure Park include Canopy Walk, Paintball Warfare, Rock Climbing, and High Rope Obstacle Course.
They have beautiful Horse Trails. You can ride horses under the supervision of trained staff. The Berjaya Hills Horse Trails is registered with the Malaysian Equine Council and is also a member of the British Pony and Equestrian Australia. The adventure park and horse riding activity have separate charges.
Experience Zen at the finest manicured Japanese Village and don’t forget to enjoy tea at the beautiful Japanese tea house. Our kids loved the Koi fish streams and ponds around the garden. Rabbit Park is a mini zoo. It has rabbits, deer, chickens, and other farm animals. The Japanese Village, Rabbit Park, botanical gardens, and organic farms are all included in the room package. Therefore you don’t have to pay at any of these places.
Organic Delicacies
At Chateau you will experience the finest and most splendid array of organic products to relish from renowned organic toiletries to organic linen. Exquisite and fresh organic fruits and delights. Organic nourishment to incite pleasures. The Chateau prides itself on providing its guests with unprecedented organic gourmet dining experiences that will delight even the sharpest of palates.
The breakfast buffet was a lavish affair, abundant with an enticing array of organic fruits, vegetables, cheeses, and freshly baked bread. The omelet station showcased culinary expertise with a variety of meticulously crafted creations. Meanwhile, the tea counter boasted a captivating selection of unique flavoring teas and aromatic coffees. From the vibrant colors to the tantalizing aromas, every detail was a testament to the artistry and dedication of the culinary team, making it a truly delightful and memorable start to the day.

Chateau’s Neighbourhood
The chateau has a unique neighbor, the Colmar Tropicale is just a little walk away from the Chateau. It’s a beautiful little village made as a replica of the actual 16th-century Colmar town in the northeast of Alsace, France. This made-up French village is so lovely. So you can have a great photo session here. Eat and drink coffee at its cafes. You can also enjoy the dance and musical performances in the evenings there.
