Overview:
Menara KL also famously known as KL Tower is a telecommunication tower, situated in the heart of Kuala Lumpur city. It was Officially launched by the then Prime Minister, Tun Dr. Mahathir Mohamad on 1st October 1996. It is the 7th tallest freestanding tower in the world. Its height along with its antenna is 421 metres. The tower also acts as the Islamic Falak observatory to observe the crescent moon which marks the beginning of the Islamic months. It is the highest view point in Kuala Lumpur that is open to the public. It is one of the iconic symbols of Kuala Lumpur.
Location:
The Tower is located on Jalan Puncak, which branches off from Jalan P. Ramlee. Even though they’re not very close, the closest rapid transit stations would be Bukit Nanas Monorail station and Dang Wangi LRT station.

The tower opens to public from 10:00 am to 10:00 pm

Oldest Forest Reserve: KL Forest Eco Park: KL Tower is located within Bukit Nanas Forest Reserve, one of the oldest forest reserves in the country – blending the Tower seamlessly with Nature. In fact KL Tower is the only tower in the world located within a forest!
You can trek around this huge and the oldest forest in the city centre. The long suspension bridges join the canopy of the forest and one can see the forest from a top. The entrance to this forest is free.
Observation Deck: About 276 meters above ground level, the observation deck gives you the stunning views of the Kuala Lumpur city. Enjoy a beautiful sunset or just relax and admire the beauty and magnanimous perspective of the city.
Sky Box: Its at 300 meters height. The sky box literally gives you goosebumps. For a moment you feel like as if you are standing on an invisible platform. Take unique selfies and enjoy the marvellous experience. Sky Box extends out from the Sky Deck ledge. It is a unique experience for visitors to enjoy the panoramic view of Kuala Lumpur city. You can stroll around the sky deck situated at the same level along the sky box.
Mini Zoo: A verity of exotic animals are kept at this mini zoo. Kids really enjoy this mini zoo. You sure want a memorable picture with the colourful macaws.
Up Side Down House: This is a unique house which is totally up side down. Take crazy fun pictures and amaze your friends.
Blue Coral Aquarium: It’s a small aquarium. Fun activity for kids to explore sea creatures up close.
