Lake Gardens Kuala Lumpur is a beautiful nature retreat in the bustling city of Kuala Lumpur. It is a piece of heavens just in your reach to explore and relax. This park offers hours of fun activities for every age group. The park is open every day between 07:00 and 18:00 and, while it’s free to enter, you are required to pay an entrance fee when visiting certain landmarks within the grounds.

Lake Gardens Kuala Lumpur also well known as the Tun Abdul Razak Heritage Park is located in the middle of Kuala Lumpur city. The Lake Gardens is located along Jalan Lembah and has two man made lakes and other parks which attract throngs of visitors.

Attractions At The Lake Gardens:

Built in the 1888, this colonial era park has a variety of amazing activities to offer to its visitors. Extending over 92 hectares of land, the Lake Gardens houses various parks and gardens. As of today, there are five other gardens and parks which are open to the public daily. They include the Orchid Garden which is filled with over 800 species of orchids. At the Orchid Garden, visitors may take as many pictures as they like and they can even buy a few pots of orchid home. The other garden is the Hibiscus Garden where Malaysia’s national flower grows in abundance. This place is an ideal location for a picnic with your family. If you are a tourist visiting Kuala Lumpur, then the gardens will give you a fair idea of the tropical flora and fauna. The man made lake has incredible views specially at the time of sun set. So if you are a photographer, you can get to take amazing photos. tropical flora and fauna Kids can ride bicycles, which are available on rent in the park. Otherwise one can bring their own bikes.  You can visit the famous Kuala Lumpur Bird Park, the home of more than 3000 birds from 200 species. The other two remaining parks are the Butterfly Park Kuala Lumpur and the Deer Park Kuala Lumpur. In the Butterfly Park, you can find over 6000 butterflies from more than 120 different species. The Deer Park also has several species of deer for visitors to see and feed. The National Monument Kuala Lumpur is just opposite the Lake Gardens. Take the chance to have a look and stroll around this historical site of Malaysia. The Lake Gardens is an amazingly huge place that may leave you with aching feet if you try to walk the whole place. Lake Gardens There is transportation provided at the cost of few ringgits per person to take you around the whole park. In that way you will be able to visit the entire garden without any muscle aches. Around the Lake Gardens are the Islamic Art Museum and the National Mosque. Do not miss the chance to visit these two places while you are at the Lake Gardens as they are just close by. It would be too much of a rush if you try to squeeze visiting all these places in a day.
