Chin Swee Caves Temple is situated in Genting High Lands, Pahang, Malaysia. It is a Taoist temple, built in honor of Reverend Master Chin Swee, a Buddhist monk, who was renowned for his ability to summon rain and drive away evil spirits. The main yard or the square houses several prayer halls for devotees to pray and meditate during their visit. People from different religions visit this temple. Once you see this place you just cannot stop admiring the serenity and magnificence of this temple. Tucked on the rocky slope of Genting Highlands’ peak, it gives you those marvelous views of the Pahang hills around it.

What To See At The Temple:
The elegant temple is recognizable from afar by its 9-story pagoda. The sharp red, yellow, and orange colors painted on the pagoda make it more prominent in the lush green highlands. The temple also offers visitors a breathtaking view and is a good place to meditate and appreciate the wonders of nature. As mentioned above, the panoramic views from the temple terrace are beyond words to explain.
As you enter the temple you see the nine-story pagoda, decorated with figurines of Buddha. Inside are 10,000 “blessing lamps”, installed for devotees to dedicate to those whom they would like to be blessed.

Further, as you reach the Temple’s sky terrace you are greeted by the 15-meter-tall statue of Buddha. The ginormous statue of Buddha has perched aside the 10 chambers of hell. These chambers of hell depict the afterlife of sinners. The artwork is amazing and quite scary to see the depictions.
